Hello everyone, I would like to take this opportunity to formally introduce myself. Some of you might have seen me around IPC recently and wondered who I am. Well, my name is Katie Chirathivat, Mary-Ann’s eldest daughter. I have recently moved back to Bangkok from London where I have been studying Design at University for the past four years. About three years ago I became my mother’s partner at the school and this still seems quite funny considering I was one of IPC’s first students 21 years ago! IPC always has a special place in my heart and I feel very fortunate to be part of it now on a daily basis. I am very proud of IPC and know that the reason that we are so special and unique is because of the loving teachers, staff, children and parents (past and present) that make up our IPC family. I am slowly getting to know the children and have already met some of our parents but I look forward to meeting the rest of you soon. I am very blessed that I can say that my mother opened IPC all those years ago so that I could have an excellent kindergarten to go to. However, I now realise that my mother had a much bigger plan and that was to open IPC so that ALL children have the opportunity to attend such a magical and wonderful school just as I did. As the holiday season approaches, I would like to express my gratitude to all of you who have allowed IPC to be a part of your lives. We promise that we will continue being the best place that we can be so that your precious little ones can look back at their time at IPC with fondest memories. Happy Holidays and I look forward to seeing you in the New Year. With
all my love, |
