COOKING
CLASS
|
|
Our program is designed to provide developmentally appropriate activities for each child. This means that we understand that young children learn best in an active environment that is planned to match their level of development. If you visit our
cooking class you will find the kindergarten classes active in each
step from measuring ingredients to pouring and mixing whilst the nursery
classes will help count the measuring cups and choose colors and or
describe the textures and smells etc. While most of our lessons are edible, we also experiment in the kitchen with science lessons.

Friendship
Fruit Salad
The other children were able to select and peel/cut fruit while the younger children helped select the different color fruits to make their individual fruit salad. |

Soap Crayons
We took soap flakes and mixed it with water and food colouring. Once combined, we placed the mixture into ice cube trays until they hardened. Then we get to take them home and draw beautiful pictures in the bathtub for Mummy and Daddy. |
